An Open Letter To Our Founding Members
A note from Tyler Smith to Hundred’s Founding Members—why Hundred exists, what you helped make possible, and what comes next. From catching silent risks early to building a clearer, more actionable health experience, this letter reflects on the first year of progress and the long game ahead: performance now, longevity later, and better lives for the people you want to be around for.

Thank You for Being Here. This Is Just the Beginning.
When I started Hundred, I wasn’t trying to build another health product. I was trying to fix something that felt fundamentally broken.
This year, a nurse who works at Stanford told us, “You’ve changed my life.”
She used to pull over on the side of the road because she couldn’t make the commute home without a nap. Pounding espresso. Falling asleep anyway. Giving everything to her patients while her own body was clearly telling her something was wrong. Her doctor said her labs looked fine. We ran the labs her doctor wouldn’t test. We connected the dots that weren’t being connected. We gave her answers, then a path forward she could actually follow.
Today, she has a completely different baseline. Balanced. High energy. Back in control. That story matters, not because it’s dramatic, but because it’s common. And because people like you made it possible.
What you made possible
Because you joined, because you trusted us, we've provided insight into more than 50,000 health data points this year (and we just launched!) Biomarkers, behaviors, habits. Real inputs tied to real people taking their health seriously.
That means silent risks caught before they became diagnoses. Trends reversed before they turned into lifelong prescriptions. Energy coming back into people’s lives. Members walking into doctor appointments informed, confident, and prepared. We’ve seen extreme cases of potential chronic disease caught early. The kind that changes families. The kind that stays with you.
Just as meaningful has been something simpler. People opening their results and saying, “I finally understand what’s going on.” People realizing, “I know what to do next.”
That shift is everything.
How we got here
Before there was a product, before there was a single line of code written, we sent out custom boxes with biological age tests, a manifesto, and handwritten notes. We were building belief before we’d built anything else.
Then we wrote the first line of code. Then another. Then another. We tested on ourselves. We built in public. I converted my barn into headquarters because this work deserved space and focus.
We launched Cohort 1, the Founding Members who believed in Hundred before there was much to believe in. It sold out in 72 hours. Then Cohorts 2, 3, and 4 sold out too. Along the way, we kept shipping product, debating decisions, and reminding ourselves who we’re building this for. Through all of it, you trusted us with your health. I don’t take that lightly.
What we built, together
We built Hundred around 100-day cycles because a year is too long, sprints are too short, and real progress happens in focused seasons.
We connect labs your doctor doesn’t run, wearables your doctor doesn’t see, and data most people never get access to. Then we turn that into something usable: a clear, evidence-based plan for supplements, nutrition, and movement.
But insight alone doesn’t change outcomes. Execution does.
That’s why we built a members-only marketplace from the start. High-quality supplements. Carefully vetted. Consistently available. Priced lower than Amazon, Fullscript, or anywhere else. And that’s why we introduced pre-sorted supplement packs. Same recommendations. Same science. Just fewer decisions. No pill sorting. No confusion. No wondering if you’re doing it right. Just open, take, and move on with your day. Because consistency is what compounds. And consistency only happens when the system respects real life.
We also acquired BellSant this year, bringing academic rigor, elite advisors, and deeper biomarker interpretation into Hundred. That foundation will matter more and more as we grow.
The part I didn’t expect
This is the hardest thing I’ve ever built. If I had to do it all over again, I probably wouldn’t build it. And yet, it’s the most meaningful.
I’m watching people close to me shave years off their biological age. I’m seeing members lose weight they couldn’t lose before. One even asked us to start selling belts because he dropped 21 pounds.
I’m seeing members bring their Hundred results into doctor appointments. Asking better questions. Advocating for themselves. That’s not replacing doctors. That’s raising the bar for what patients can understand and act on.
Why this matters
It shouldn’t take $100,000 a year to understand what’s happening in your body. It shouldn’t require insider access to get clarity and a plan that works.
Everyone deserves this. And it exists because you showed up early, believed in the mission, and trusted us with something deeply personal.

What comes next
This year, we built the foundation and proved it works. Next year, we scale the impact.
We’re rolling out a more complete picture of you: bringing your health history, hormones, wearables, labs, behaviors, and goals together with smarter protocols, built-in accountability, and personalized guidance that supports you every step of the way. Hundred is being built for the long game. For performance now. For longevity later. For the people you want to be around for.
A final thank you
I’ve thought a lot about legacy this year. Yours and mine. In Act One of my journey, I helped people get a home, often their first. In my Act Two, I helped organize real estate data at scale. For my Act Three, I’m building Hundred so people can live better, longer lives.
Thank you for trusting us with your health.
Thank you for believing early.
Thank you for being part of this.
More to come.
